Gintegral bases its activities on two main business areas: global waste management and organic waste management. It currently has three Integrated Waste Management Centres (CIGR) duly licensed for the management of non-hazardous waste. The CIGR in Ponte de Lima (Vitorino das Donas) integrates the operations of packaging, sorting, temporary storage, mechanical treatment and recovery of waste, including the composting of organic waste. The CIGR in Figueira da Foz is dedicated exclusively to the composting of organic waste and the CIGR in Maia is dedicated to global waste management.
Organic waste management through composting produces an organic agricultural soil improver under the Naturaduba brand, which is used in agriculture, forestry and gardening. ‘It’s not magic, it’s organic.’
Gintegral also offers complete, personalised and turnkey consulting services for the various phases of projects, from environmental monitoring and related monitoring programmes, environmental and safety monitoring and inspection, industrial and environmental licensing processes, implementation of Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems, on-the-job training and environmental education, and advising on the identification of sustainable solutions for projects, among others.
